Design Philosophy

My main inspiration comes from the wonderful contrasts that exist in textures, colours and materials in nature, cultures end everyday life. Combining different contrasting qualities, roughs with smooth, lights with darks, hards with softs to mixed materials and technical processes result in unpredictable and beautiful, endless and exciting possibilities.

I use a wide variety of mixed materials including leather, Perspex, wood, textiles, ceramics, precious metals and an ability to manipulate these materials to explore and push the limits and boundaries of my own imagination and allow additional flexibility in my range of designs.

The diverse nature of my work definitely communicates and expresses my passion for identity and individuality and expresses my happy, enthusiastic, yet reflective, personality.  By experimenting with and combining these contrasting elements results in infinite diversity in design and style of unique, beautiful jewellery pieces that individualizes and distinguishes the wearer from others, in essence, using it as a tool to express identity.
